Crumbler
Our Crumbler is used after cultivating to break large chunks of soil and smooth the ground for planting.
The Crumbler is a soil preparation tool designed to create the ideal seedbed by breaking up chunks and compacted soil. Built with a series of rotating steel bars, the Crumbler loosens the topsoil while maintaining surface uniformity, promoting even germination and root development. As it moves across the field, it crumbles hard soil into finer particles, improving seed-to-soil contact and moisture retention. This makes it especially valuable in spring tillage or following primary cultivation, where the soil can remain too coarse for direct seeding.
Perfect for a wide range of crops, the Crumbler helps eliminate air pockets, reduce crusting, and leave a smooth, level surface. Its rugged construction allows it to perform well in a variety of soil conditions, including heavier clay-based soils and lighter loams. Often used ahead of planting, the Crumbler creates the optimal conditions for tools like vacuum seeders and enhances weed control effectiveness for mechanical cultivators making each more accurate and effective.
Whether used on its own or in tandem with other tillage tools, the Crumbler is a reliable way to improve soil structure and boost the success of early crop establishment.
