This winter, Werkr Tractors will be building two new, heavily improved tractors to allow us to gather more experimental field data and receive valuable feedback from our customers. These tractors will spend most of the spring, summer, and fall planting and weeding on various farms in Southern Ontario. We hope to improve the accuracy of our planting and weeding through these experimental tests.
In this video, we are pulling the hub off an existing gearbox in order to modify it for our new tractors. Because the fit was so tight, we had to use our oxy-acetylene torch, a puller, and an impact driver to remove the gearbox hub, and had a lot of fun doing it.
