This week, we spent our time processing the laser cut parts before they get sent away again to be either coated or painted. Before that can happen, every single piece of the tractor needs to be prepped and ready to fit together properly.
Processing includes: First, many of the parts are welded together to form larger components, such as the tractors' frame, the lift arms, hitching mechanism, and much more.
Next, many of the parts have holes that need to be tapped or reamed. Once that is completed, everything goes through a final de-burring to smooth out rough laser-cut edges and clean up any weld splatter.

With 240 individual pieces to be sorted and finished, there is no shortage of work. Back to the shop!
