We're out at the farm for the first time this season, and it's all systems go as we begin preparing the soil for planting. Using a combination of discs and S-Tine cultivators, we’re breaking up the ground and getting it ready to support a new season of fresh vegetables.
This field will soon be home to a variety of crops—lettuce, beets, carrots, onions, and more. But this isn't just any ordinary growing season. These garden beds will serve a dual purpose: growing produce and advancing agricultural innovation.
As part of a series of test trials, we’ll be comparing weeding efficiency across three different methods of tractor control: manual driving, RTK GPS guidance, and cutting-edge AI vision autonomy. We aim to describe how technology can impact farm productivity and precision, right from the ground up.
Stay tuned as we continue to share updates from the field.
